Convert an image to PowerPoint using Visual, Editable or Hybrid mode. Choose whether you need an image-based slide, reconstructed text boxes or an image with editable OCR text layered over it.

Build slides from images with deliberate tradeoffs

A slide screenshot has no original editable text or shape objects. Visual mode places its appearance on a slide. Editable mode reconstructs recognized text and some detected rectangular shapes without inserting the source image. Hybrid mode combines the source image with OCR text. None recovers the original presentation objects exactly.

1

Add images in slide order

Choose JPG, PNG or WebP images, arrange them and correct rotation. Each image becomes a slide in the resulting presentation.

2

Choose a conversion mode

Use Visual to retain an image appearance, Editable for reconstructed text, or Hybrid for both. Choose wide or standard slide proportions and suitable image fit where offered.

3

Extract and review text when needed

For Editable or Hybrid, choose a supported language and run extraction on every image. Correct the text blocks and inspect their approximate positions before export.

4

Download and inspect the PPTX

Open the deck in your presentation editor. Check text boxes, cropping, font substitution and slide dimensions; reconstructed objects usually need review.

Formats, limits and tradeoffs

Accepts up to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP images, each up to 20 MiB. Wide and standard slide layouts are offered. Visual mode does not require OCR.

Editable mode estimates text and selected rectangular shapes; it does not recover every chart, photo, font or animation. Hybrid mode may show both original text in the image and its editable reconstruction. Cover fit can crop image edges.

When this tool helps

Present a screenshot faithfully

Choose Visual when the image appearance matters more than editable words.

Rewrite text from a slide image

Use Editable mode for a draft of recognized text, then repair layout and missing visual elements.

Keep a visual reference while editing

Choose Hybrid when retaining the image helps review reconstructed wording.

Troubleshooting

The slide has duplicated-looking text
Hybrid contains an image plus OCR text. Choose Visual or Editable if that combination does not suit your use.
The exported slide is missing artwork
Editable mode does not insert the source image. It reconstructs limited shapes and text, rather than the whole visual design.

Process on your device

Images are prepared and OCR runs locally; the browser generates the PPTX. Image bytes and recognized text are not uploaded for conversion. OCR resources may download online.
