PDF Editing Tools
PDF editing includes several distinct tasks. Adding a note is different from replacing existing text, changing metadata is different from concealing visible information, and an overlay behaves differently from a watermark.
Use the narrowest tool that matches your change: page labels and numbering, prepared overlay artwork, basic markup, comments, bookmarks or supported color transformations. Read each page's limits before expecting the flexibility of a full desktop editor.
Review affected pages after saving. If the task involves personal information, use the Security Tools guidance: a drawn label or an ordinary overlay does not establish that underlying sensitive content has been removed.
