PDF Page Organization Tools

Decide whether you are arranging complete documents or individual pages. Joining two files end to end needs a merger; alternating two scan passes needs an interleaver. A selected excerpt is different from splitting a PDF into several outputs.

Use manual page selection when exact inclusions matter. Blank-page detection is convenient for obvious empty scan backs, but faint handwriting and intentional separators need careful review.

Finalize page order before adding contents destinations or page labels. Keep the originals, compare page counts and inspect the beginning and end of the new document. Reassembly can affect document-level navigation or signatures.
